You can use the Geo SCADA Expert Server Configuration Tool to delete any unwanted Units, Numeric Point States, Discrete Point States, or Control Actions descriptions. When you have deleted a description, it will not be shown in the relevant combo box, for example, if you delete a Units description, it will not be shown in Units combo boxes.
To remove a custom description:
- Access the Geo SCADA Expert Server Configuration Tool (see Accessing the Geo SCADA Expert Server Configuration Tool).
- Expand the Database Configuration branch.
- Select Descriptions.
The Descriptions section is shown. -
- Select the description that you want to remove.
- Select the Remove button for the section that contains the description you want to remove. For example, if you want to remove a Units description, select the Remove button that is below the Units section.
The description is removed.
Now you can define more descriptions or continue with the server configuration process. For more information, see the topics that are listed in the gray footer section at the bottom of this topic. Select the relevant entry to display the topic that you require.
