Security permission required to access this pick action: Control

An output point in a Sofrel outstation may be locked to prevent it from being controlled by the outstation's process control programs. Unlocking a point allows it to controlled from anywhere, including by process control programs.

The Unlock pick action is available on a point providing that:

• Your User Account is allocated the Control security permission for that point.
• The Disable Controls has not been used to prevent users from issuing controls on that point.
• When a point is locked the Unlock option becomes available on the object menu for the point.
