This is a Geo SCADA Expert specific algorithm.
This algorithm calculates the average of the sum of the absolute differences between each pair of values in the resample interval (there needs to be a minimum of 2 values for the algorithm to work). Each interval’s value is returned with the timestamp of the start of the interval calculated.
The Moving Range can be used to create a Shewhart control chart for Statistical Quality Control (SPC).
You may need to create an appropriate y-axis in order to display the plot from this algorithm alongside the raw data.
