Use the fields within the Integrator section of the Integrator tab to:
- Specify the calculation period for the integral value
- Specify whether the Field Device should log the integral value at the end of the period.
- Period—Specify the period of time (in seconds) for which the Field Device should calculate the integral value. Enter the required interval in the OPC Time Format. You can enter the value directly in the field, or use the Interval window (accessed via the field's browse button) to specify the required value.
- Offset—Specify the amount of time (in seconds) from the start of the week to when the Period begins.
The start of the week is Monday at 00:00:00 UTC (that is, midnight between Sunday and Monday).Enter the required interval in the OPC Time Format. You can enter the value directly in the field, or use the Interval window (accessed via the field's browse button) to specify the required value.
Example 1:
Period: 1H, Offset: 0
Simple hourly integral, synchronized to the hour boundary.
Example 2:
Period: 1D, Offset: 6H
Daily integral, where the day starts at 6am UTC.
- Log End of Period—Use this check box to specify whether you want the Field Device to log the integral value at the end of the specified Period. That is, before the End of Period Reset (see End of Period). If you do this, the Field Device will log the total in each Period. Select the check box to enable logging. Clear the check box to disable logging.
