The Secondary Connection State attribute indicates the status of the secondary network connection between eDNALinkMx and the Wonderware eDNA Historian server.

The possible connection states are:
- Failed - <Error Message>—An anomaly occurred when eDNALinkMx tried to connect to the Wonderware eDNA Historian server. This might indicate that:
- The secondary Wonderware eDNA Historian server is offline
- There is a network issue
- A user may have entered an incorrect ip address or port number.
- There has been a Domain Name System (DNS) issue.
- Connected—eDNALinkMx has connected to the Wonderware eDNA Historian server.
- Not Used—An IP address has not been specified for the secondary connection.
