Define When the Redirection Action is Active

Use the Active From and Active To fields to define the time period during which the alarm redirection is active—you need to specify this for each alarm redirection that needs configuring. If the alarm redirection is always active, set both fields to the default of 00:00.

Example:

If an alarm redirection only needs to occur when a control room is unmanned, and that control room is manned between 8.00am and 6.00pm, set the Active From field to 18:00 and the Active To field to 08:00.

To specify different hour and minute entries for the Active From or the Active To fields:

  1. Select the hours entry so that it is highlighted.

  2. Either:
    • Select the upper arrow of the spin box to increase the hour by one each time that you select it.

      Example:

If the time is 00:00, select the upper arrow to change the time to 01:00, then 02:00, and so on.

    • Select the lower arrow of the spin box to decrease the hour by one, each time that you select it.

      Example:

If the time is 00:00, select the lower arrow to change the time to 23:00, then 22:00, and so on.

    • Overtype the entry with the required time.
  3. Select the minutes entry so that it is highlighted.

  4. Either:
    • Select the upper arrow of the spin box to increase the minutes by one each time that you select it.

      Example:

If the time is 00:00, select the upper arrow to change the time to 00:01, then 00:02, and so on.

    • Select the lower arrow of the spin box to decrease the minutes by one, each time that you select it.

      Example:

If the time is 00:00, select the lower arrow to change the time to 00:59, then 00:58, and so on.

    • Overtype the entry with the required time.

Repeat the various alarm redirection configuration procedures until you have configured each of the alarm redirections that is required on the item or Group (see Configure Alarm Redirections for an Item or Group).
