Configure an ODBC Client - System Connection using a DSN

After installing the Data Access components, you have to create a connection between the Geo SCADA Expert server and the computer that is running the third-party application(s). The connection will allow the third-party application(s) to access the Geo SCADA Expert database using ODBC.

To configure a third-party ODBC client - system connection:

  1. Configure the Connection for the Geo SCADA Expert Client
  2. Access the ODBC Data Source Administrator Tool
  3. Configure the ODBC DSN Settings.
