Edit an Existing ViewX Client - Third Party OPC Server Connection

You can use the Geo SCADA Expert Client Applet to change the configuration of an existing ViewX client - Third Party OPC server connection. This is useful when you need to alter the way the client - OPC server connection works, for example, you may need to rectify a mistake such as having selected the wrong Type of OPC server.

To edit an existing ViewX client - Third Party OPC server connection, on the ViewX client:

1. In Windows, select the Start menu. Scroll down the alphabetical list of installed applications and expand the EcoStruxure Geo SCADA folder. Select the Configure Connections option.
   The Geo SCADA Expert Client applet runs.
2. Select the ViewX - Third Party OPC server connection that you want to edit.
3. Select the Edit button to display the Geo SCADA Expert Client Configuration window.
4. Use the Geo SCADA Expert Client Configuration window to change the System Name, Type, Visible in ViewX and Node settings as required. For more information on these settings, Create a Connection between a ViewX Client and a Third-Party OPC Server.
