Action Requests that Require Confirmation
Where operator confirmation is specified, a confirmation dialog box is displayed whenever the action is selected.
Example:
The Override feature for a particular digital point, named ‘Switch 1’, is configured such that confirmation is always required whenever an operator requests the Override pick action.
An operator selects the Override pick action and specifies that the point is overridden to the state ‘Power Off’.
A confirmation dialog box is displayed as soon as the request is sent:
The server only activates the override request once the operator selects the ‘Yes’ button on the confirmation dialog box.
If the operator has selected the Override pick action unintentionally, the operator can cancel the Override request by selecting ‘No’ rather than ‘Yes’, on the confirmation dialog box.
