Execute a System Command

To trigger a Windows® operating command using a System Command database item:

1. Right-click on the relevant System Command entry on either:
   • The Database Bar
   • A Queries List
   • A Mimic.

   A context sensitive menu is displayed.

2. Select the Execute option.
   Geo SCADA Expert triggers the specified command.

   If system calls are disabled, the credentials are invalid or user impersonation has failed, the Execute option will not be available. For more information, see System Calls Settings in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Server Administration.
