Using the Color Window to Define a Color
Each Geo SCADA Expert system is supplied with sets of default colors. These sets include:
- System Colors—Colors that are used to indicate the status of an item, such as ‘Outstation Override’ (see System Colors).
- Alarm Colors—Colors that are used to indicate that an item is in a particular alarm state (for example, ‘Unacknowledged’) (see Edit a Severity Range).
You can use the default colors on your system or choose to replace any of the colors with custom colors.
If you decide to use a custom color, you will need to use the Color window to specify the color that you want to use. This section explains how to use the Color window (see Using the Color Window). For information on accessing the Color window, see the appropriate section listed above.
When you specify a custom color, ensure that the color that you choose is not identical to, or could be confused with, another color on the system.
