Define the Control Settings for an Analog Output Point
Analog Outputs—also known as set points—control plant by sending it one of a range of values. You define the limits for those values using the fields on the Control tab of the Analog Output Point Form.
A number of drivers support analog output points. This section covers configuration of the standard control properties on the Control tab of the Analog Output Point Form (see Define the Analog Control Settings).
Output points on some drivers also support:
- Promoting Scanning of Outstations Associated with Controls
- The ability to specify whether to Update an Output Point's Value Immediately Following a Successful Control Action.
For fields on the Control tab that are not covered in any of the topics above, see the driver-specific documentation.
