If Geo SCADA Expert is to export a report in Crystal Reports format, use the Format field on the Export Format tab to specify the Crystal Reports format. The tab displays these fields:
When exported, the report remains in Crystal Reports format. The exported version of the report retains the settings and layout that were specified when the report was last edited (assuming that the specified fonts are available from whichever location the exported report is accessed).
- Read Only—Select this check box if the exported report is to be read-only. The report is exported as an .rptr file, a file format that can only be viewed in a report viewer (rather than be opened in a report designer). Files with an .rptr file extension are designed to prevent users from seeing the internal workings of the report design. SAP Crystal Report designer tools refuse to open .rptr files.
Clear the check box (the default) if the exported report is to be editable. The report is exported as an .rpt file that can be opened and edited using SAP Crystal Report designer tools.
