Using the Crystal Reports Viewer
When you use the Display Crystal Report pick action in ViewX, the selected report is displayed in an inset Crystal Reports Viewer. You use the Viewer to display a report that has been previously generated using the Generate Report pick action.
If the Report is stored historically and more than one version of the report exists on the server, a Select Report window is displayed. Use the window to select the report that you want to display in the Crystal Reports Viewer.
You can use the Viewer to navigate, search, print, and export your reports.
The information in this section helps you to Understand the Crystal Reports Viewer Layout and explains how to perform various activities using the Viewer. For more information, see the topics that are listed in the gray footer section at the bottom of this topic. Select the relevant entry to display the topic that you require.
Your system might also contain Mimics with hyperlinks that allow you to display reports directly from those Mimics. As with the Display pick action, when you select such a hyperlink, the report is displayed in the Crystal Reports Viewer. (For an example that summarizes how to set up such a hyperlink, see Display the Latest Report via a Button on a Mimic.)
