RecordId

Associated with: The Event Journal table (CDBEventJournal), CDBHistoric, CDBHistoricAll, CForecastHistoric, and Historic View tables

The RecordId is a unique number that is used to identify a historic record.

When querying any of the above tables in order to produce a List, always include the RecordId field in that List’s SELECT Clause.

The RecordId field enables SQL to retrieve dynasets of historic data. As such, typically only a subset of the data (including each required entry’s RecordId) is retrieved from the database, rather than all of the data that is specified by the List’s SELECT query. (For more information on dynasets, see Id.)
