Confirm that the MQTT Sparkplug™ B Server Component is Installed

The MQTT Sparkplug B extension driver provides the MQTT driver with extra functionality. It provides Geo SCADA Expert with the ability to communicate with MQTT brokers in order to retrieve and/or control data on EoN nodes and Sparkplug B devices. For such communications, the Sparkplug B component has to be installed on each of the servers on your system (including any permanent standby servers), in addition to the MQTT component.

Use the Add/Remove Programs function in the Windows® Control Panel to check whether the required components are installed.

The Sparkplug B component is located in the Server group, in a branch off from its MQTT ‘parent’ driver component. To check that this component has been installed, ensure that the symbol to the left of the text Sparkplug B does not have an X on it.
