ArcGIS Map Source

To configure a Map Source you use the Map Source tab of the Map Source Form (see Configuring a Map Source).

This topic describes the properties for an ArcGIS® Map Source.

ArcGIS is a geographic information system (GIS) for working with maps and geographic information. It is produced by the Envoronmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI), an international supplier of GIS software, web GIS and geodatabase management applications. ArcGIS map data is organized into layers, so that users can choose which layers they want to view or query. Geo SCADA Expert provides access to ArcGIS mapping as layers for Geo SCADA Expert composite maps. For more about map layers, see About Geo SCADA Expert Maps.

When you specify the Map Source as 'ArcGIS', the following properties are displayed on the Map Source tab:
