Editing a View
To change the positioning or magnification of an existing View:
- Display the Mimic that contains the View you want to edit. You need to display the Mimic in Design mode (see Displaying a Mimic).
- Select Views in the View command group on the Graphics Tab.
The Views window is displayed.
- Select the View you want to edit from the Views list, then select the Properties button.
The Edit View window is displayed. - Overwrite the Name entry as required.
- Change the Position of the View by altering the coordinates in the X and Y fields. X is the positioning from left to right and Y is the positioning from top to bottom.
- Change the level of magnification (Size) by altering the W and H settings. W is the width setting and H is the Height setting. Increasing the numbers reduces the level of magnification; reducing the numbers increases the level of magnification.
- Select the OK button to confirm the settings and close the Edit View window.
Alternatively, you may find it easier to create a new View with the required settings then remove the existing View (see Removing a View).
Only users with the Configure permission can edit Views.
