The driver contains type and descriptive data for each of the points that are defined in the ROC Plus Protocol Specification Manual. When configuring such points, the driver can automatically offer suitable options, based on the TLP settings.
For user defined types, the driver is unable to determine the types of value that the point should contain. To configure a user defined point, enable the Manually Enter Point Information option on the ROC Plus Numeric Point, or ROC Plus String Point. The setting enables you to override the driver’s automatically decoded information and enter your own.
