You use a ROC Plus History Point object to retrieve and hold values from a ROC’s history. You configure a ROC Plus History Point to retrieve the historic data from a specific history point in the ROC. You can use the point to retrieve daily, hourly, minute, or extended data, depending on the point’s configuration in Geo SCADA Expert.
If communications to the ROC fails, and then recovers some time later, the History Point will attempt to retrieve the data that was generated by the ROC during the outage.
The data is entered into the point’s historic record with a timestamp. Timestamps are corrected for the ROC Time Zone setting on the ROC Plus Scanner object at the time of retrieval.
