Configure the Logic Debugger Service
This section allows you enable the Logic Debugger Service to enable remote access to the logic application for debugging purposes. By default, you cannot access a connection for debugging the logic application on a SCADAPack x70 device.
Limiting users to local access can help you comply with safety, security, permission or administrative policy requirements.
To enable local or remote access to the logic application using a USB, Ethernet or PPP TCP/IP connection, activate the Logic Debug Service:
Select this check box to enable the Logic Debugger Service. You need to enable this service for local or remote debugging.
- For local debugging, use USB or Ethernet communication between SCADAPack RemoteConnect and the SCADAPack x70 device.
- For remote debugging use Ethernet communication between SCADAPack RemoteConnect and the SCADAPack x70 device.
Clear the check box if you do not require the Logic Debugger Service.
This field is only available for use when the Enabled check box is selected. Specify the TCP port number used for communication with the SCADAPack x70 Logic Editor. This port number also needs to be specified in the logic editor when connecting a logic debug session to the outstation.
