Define the Minimum Number of (Buffered) Events
The fields within the Unsolicited Message Generation (Buffered Events) section of the tab apply to unsolicited messages that the outstation sends to any DNP3 controlling station. If an outstation is to send unsolicited messages, in addition to the fields in this section, you also have to configure the properties within the Connection to Controlling Station section of the tab.
Use the fields within the Unsolicited Message Generation (Buffered Events) section of the DNP3 Outstation tab to specify for each class type the minimum number of events that are stored in the outstation's internal buffer before they are sent as unsolicited messages.
Specify the minimum number of Class 1 events that have to be stored in the SCADAPack x70 device’s internal Event Buffer, before the outstation attempts to send an unsolicited message. Default is 250.
Specify the minimum number of Class 2 events that have to be stored in the SCADAPack x70 device’s internal Event Buffer, before the outstation attempts to send an unsolicited message. Default is 250.
Specify the minimum number of Class 3 events that have to be stored in the SCADAPack x70 device’s internal Event Buffer, before the outstation attempts to send an unsolicited message. Default is 250.
