Enable or Disable the DNP3 Tab

At the top of the DNP3 tab on the Forms of SCADAPack x70 Analog, Digital, and Counter Configuration items is an Enabled check box. Use the check box to specify whether the SCADAPack x70 device is being used as a DNP3 Outstation and is to use the DNP3 protocol to communicate with its SCADA controlling station.

Select the check box if the device is being used as a DNP3 Outstation. Other fields become available for use on the tab. For more information, see the topics that are listed in the gray footer section at the bottom of this topic. Select the relevant entry to display the topic that you require.

Clear the check box if the device is not being used as a DNP3 Outstation. The rest of the fields on the tab are 'grayed out' and unavailable for use.
