Enable or Disable the Modbus Tab
At the top of the Modbus tab on the Forms of SCADAPack x70 Analog, Digital, and Counter Configuration items is an Enabled check box. Use the check box to specify whether the SCADAPack x70 device is being used as a Modbus Server and is to use the Modbus protocol to communicate with its SCADA client.
Select the check box if the device is being used as a Modbus Server. Other fields become available for use on the tab. For more information, see the topics that are listed in the gray footer section at the bottom of this topic. Select the relevant entry to display the topic that you require.
Clear the check box if the device is not being used as a Modbus Server. The rest of the fields on the tab are 'grayed out' and unavailable for use.
Regardless of whether the Enabled check box is selected or cleared, the properties on the Modbus tab are ignored if certain Modbus options are disabled on the configuration Form of the SCADAPack x70 Device Configuration item with which this Analog, Digital, or Counter Configuration item is associated (see Configure the Device Options).
