Import the Configuration to RemoteConnect

After exporting the configuration from Geo SCADA Expert to a .RTZ file, you import the .RTZ file to RemoteConnect.

You have to first create a new project in RemoteConnect before you import the .RTZ file.

To create a new project:

1. Open the RemoteConnect application.
2. Select the Create Project button.
3. Set the SCADAPack Device Type to SCADAPack 575.
4. Leave the other project settings at defaults and select Next.
5. Leave the PC Communication Type settings at default and select Next.
6. Select Finish to create the project.

To import the .RTZ file to RemoteConnect:

1. On the Configuration tab in RemoteConnect, select SCADAPack x70 Logic, then expand the Advanced Configuration parameters.
2. In the Geo SCADA section, select Import.
3. Navigate to the .RTZ file that you want to import.

   This should be the same .RTZ file that you created in the previous step of this tutorial.

4. Select Open.
5. After the file is imported, select OK to confirm that file was imported successful.
6. Select the Save Project button on the toolbar.
   1. Define the location to which you want to save the project.
   2. Specify a suitable name for the project file.
7. Select the Save button.
   The project is now saved to disk.

Once you have imported the configuration to RemoteConnect, you can proceed to Build the Application Logic.
