The Acknowledge Alarms permission defines whether the user account or User Group has access to the acknowledge alarm features such as the Acknowledge Alarms pick action for a database item. The acknowledge alarm features are used to acknowledge an alarm and are available via several displays including the Alarms List and Alarm Banner. The Acknowledge Alarms permission also applies to e-mail and voice alarm acknowledgment features and the Set Alarm Response feature.
