Create a New Document in an Operator Document Store
You can create a new document such as a Trend in any of the Operator Document Stores to which you have access. You can then configure the new document as required. Any other users that also have access to the Operator Document Store can also configure the new document.
To add a new document to one of your Operator Document Stores:
- Log on to ViewX.
- Display your Operator Document Stores (see Access Your Operator Document Stores).
- Right-click on the Operator Document Store that is to contain the new document (or right-click on the Group within an Operator Document Store that is to contain the new document).
A context sensitive menu is displayed. - Select the Create New option for the type of document you wish to create. For example, if you want to create a new Trend, select the Create New option, the select Trend option from the further menu.
The new document is added to the selected Operator Document Store. It is selected automatically, ready for you to define its name. - Enter a suitable name for the document, then press the Enter key or select another part of the interface to confirm your entry.
When you have added a new document to an Operator Document Store, you can edit that document (see Edit a Document in your Operator Document Store).
