Alarm Redirection Calendar

An alarm redirection Calendar allows you to schedule sets of alarm redirections to run at different times during different days. You can specify different alarm redirection schedules for different days of the week. You can also specify different schedules for different types of day (for instance, Public holidays, or Company Shutdown periods).

Alarm redirection Calendars are particularly useful if you want to run standard schedules for most of the year and override specific days, such as Public holidays, with different alarm redirection schedules.

If you use an alarm redirection Calendar, you also need to configure the redirection actions or rosters that you want to use on the calendar, or ensure that they exist on your system. You can attach any type of redirection action to an alarm redirection Calendar.

For further information, see Configure an Alarm Redirection Calendar.

NOTE: Do not confuse Alarm Redirection Calendars with ‘normal’ Calendars. ‘Normal’ Calendars are used alongside other ClearSCADA features, such as Schedules, to indicate functions that are to occur on specific dates in the year.
For information on ‘normal’ Calendars, see Configuring Calendars in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Configuration.
