Configure a Redirection Action

You need to configure a separate redirection action for each different redirection that you require, for example, a separate E-mail action for each different e-mail message that needs sending. To add and configure a redirection action see the topics that are listed in the gray footer section at the bottom of this topic. Select the relevant entry to display the topic that you require.

If you are using the redirection actions in an Action Roster or an alarm redirection Calendar, you need to configure that roster (see Configure an Action Roster) or calendar (see Configure an Alarm Redirection Calendar).

You can then attach the Redirection Action, Action Roster or alarm redirection Calendar to a database item to redirect the alarms for that item (see Configure Alarm Redirections for an Item or Group).

ClearSCADA also supports alarm suppression, whereby alarms raised on certain items are omitted from alarm displays while a specific alarm on another item is active. For more information, see Alarm Suppression in the ClearSCADA Guide to Alarms.
