You can use the Alarms section of the ClearSCADA Server Configuration Tool to:
- Define whether alarms and events are raised/logged on your system (see Enable/Disable Alarms and Events).
- Define the cookie range for alarms on each server in a multi-server system (see Define the Cookie Range for Alarms). You need to configure each server to use a different range of cookies.
- Define the availability and functionality of the Disable Alarms action (see Define the Disable Alarms Settings).
- Define whether User Types can Disable Alarms Independently
- Enable or Disable the Alarm Response Feature
- Enable or Disable the Area of Interest Feature
- Define whether the Visible Time is used as the Active Alarm Time
- Define Standard Alarm Acknowledgment Comments
