You can choose to hide annotations from your Trend. This will not display the marker on the trace, or the annotation in the ToolTip for the value.
To hide and show annotations for every trace on the Trend:
- Right-click on the main display area on the Trend.
A context sensitive menu is displayed. - Enable or disable the Show Annotations option to show/hide the annotations as required.
The annotation marker is shown or hidden. If the annotation is hidden, the value’s ToolTip will no longer display the annotation text.If there are no annotations this option is not available.
To hide or show the annotations for an individual trace:
- Right-click on the trace in the Key
A context sensitive menu is displayed. - Select the Show option to display a further menu.
- Enable or Disable the Annotations option to show/hide the annotations for the trace as required.
NOTE: When accessing the Show menu for an individual trace, there is also a Show>All option that allows you to display all traces, markers, annotations and constant alarm limits on a Trend. The Show>None option allows you to hide all traces, markers, annotations and constant alarm limits on a Trend.
