When you add a link to your Favorites List, it automatically includes its full address. This can result in links with names that are excessively long.
You can use the Rename feature to change the names of links so that they are more usable. Ideally, you should use names for links that are concise but meaningful.
You can also rename any folders that you have added to your Favorites List.
To rename a link or folder, either:
- Right-click on the link or folder in your Favorites List.
A context sensitive menu is displayed. - Select the Rename option.
The name of the link or folder is selected automatically, ready for you to edit it. - Enter the new name.
- Press the Enter key or select another part of the interface to confirm the name change.
