The example that is explained in these topics is available as a Geo SCADA Expert database export (sde) file.
Once you have installed the Geo SCADA Expert FloBoss Driver, you can optionally use the FloBossDemo.sde file to import the sample configuration into your database. You can then study the sample configuration to see how the FloBoss driver can be used to interface a FloBoss with Geo SCADA Expert. The default location for the FloBossDemo.sde file is Program Files\Schneider Electric\ClearSCADA.
The demonstration file shows how to use the Geo SCADA Expert FloBoss driver to:
- Gather historic data
- Gather current data
- Retrieve events and alarms
- Change the gas composition
- Change the orifice plate diameter
- and so on.
After you successfully import the FloBossDemo.sde file, you should see a database tree similar to the one shown below. The topics that follow this one discuss various aspects of this sample database.
