The Connection Alarm attribute indicates the status of the network connection between HCAL and a Wonderware Historian server.
There are two types of connection error:
- Open Failed—An error occurred when HCAL attempted to open the connection to the Wonderware Historian server. This alarm might indicate there is a problem with the HCAL installation.
- Failed—An error has occurred with the connection between HCAL and the Wonderware Historian server.
The Geo SCADA Expert alarm message includes any error message generated by HCAL.
Possible States: Displays one of the Geo SCADA Expert Standard Alarm States.
