If your system is running an Advanced Modbus Extension Driver, refer to the relevant extension driver guide for any driver-specific settings that are not mentioned below.
Some driver-specific settings need configuring on the server by a system administrator when a system is first installed. These settings are configured using the Geo SCADA Expert ServerConfiguration tool. This section explains the properties on the Advanced Modbus section of the tool.
When the Advanced Modbus driver is first installed on a Geo SCADA Expert system, a system administrator should:
- Define any Additional PSTN Connection Types (see PSTN Connection Types).
- Apply the changes to the server.
- If the driver is currently running on the server, restart the driver for the changes to take effect.
ATTENTION: This driver supports extension drivers. Restarting this driver will also restart any associated extension driver(s) that are running on your system.
- Repeat the procedure for each server on the system. (You only need to perform the steps on any Permanent Standby servers if you make changes to any PSTN Connection Types.)
