Specify Whether a Set Broadcasts Set Clock Messages

The Broadcast feature does not apply to PSTN sets.

Use the Broadcast Set Clock check box on the Modbus tab to specify whether the server updates the controllers’ clocks individually or simultaneously.

Select the check box to broadcast a Set Clock message simultaneously to each of the Extension Driver controllers on the set. (Set Clock broadcasting does not apply to Generic Modbus controllers.)

Clear the check box if you want the server to set the time on each controller individually. If your system is running the Realflo Extension Driver, clear the check box if a set contains any Realflo controllers (as the Realflo method of setting a clock results in the controller restarting its current Hour log).

Use the Set Outstation Clock settings on the Scan Parameters tab of the Channel Form to specify when the clocks are set on the controllers that communicate via a particular channel (see Define when the Server Sets the Outstations’ Clocks).
