Specify the Controller Address

Use the Address field on the Modbus tab to specify the address for a Generic Modbus controller.

For Generic Modbus controllers, enter the required address in the range 1 to 255.

Each Generic Modbus address has to be unique on the system.

Modbus uses Address 0 for broadcasting, therefore this address cannot be used as a Generic Modbus controller address.
