After installing the Data Access components, you need to create a connection between the Geo SCADA Expert server and the computer that is running the Third Party application(s). The connection will allow the Third Party application(s) to access the Geo SCADA Expert database using ODBC.
To configure the Third Party ODBC client - system connection, you need to:
- Configure the Connection for the Geo SCADA Expert Client
- Access the ODBC Data Source Administrator Tool:
- If you are using 32-bit Windows, Access the ODBC Data Source Administrator Tool
- If you are using 64-bit Windows, 64-Bit Applications on 64-Bit Windows.
- Configure the ODBC DSN Settings.
