Secondary Window Container

Secondary Window Containers display document windows in Run Mode or Design Mode, allowing database items such as Mimics, Lists, Trends or reports to appear simultaneously on separate monitors. A Multi-Monitor setup supports up to 5 Secondary Window Containers.

Secondary Window Containers:

• Do not have a Status Bar
• Do not have a Close button.

You can configure a Secondary Window Container to:

• Display a single document
• Display multiple documents (if your user account provides access to a Multi Document Interface) (see Define the ViewX Configuration Settings for a User).

If a Window Container supports multiple documents, each document window appears with its own tab.

Secondary Window Containers can also display the Alarm Banner, or they can be configured to display the Alarm Banner in 'Fill' Container mode (see Launch the Alarm Banner in Fill Container Mode).
