Working with Single and Multiple Databases

A ViewX client can be configured to access a single Geo SCADA Expert database or multiple Geo SCADA Expert databases. Each Geo SCADA Expert database is independent and runs as a Geo SCADA Expert system on a Geo SCADA Expert server (or on multiple Geo SCADA Expert servers if used in a multi-server redundant architecture). This means you can use a single ViewX client to:

• Display information from one or more Geo SCADA Expert databases
• Configure items in one or more Geo SCADA Expert databases
• Issue controls to items in one or more Geo SCADA Expert databases.
