Add and Configure an Accumulator

To add a master station Accumulator to the Geo SCADA Expert database:

1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar).
2. In the Database Bar, right-click on the System or Group for which you want to add an Accumulator.
   A context sensitive menu is displayed.
3. Select the Create New option.
   A further menu is displayed.
4. Select the Accumulator option.
   A further menu is displayed.
5. Select the type of Accumulator that you require (see Types of Master Station Accumulator).
   An Accumulator of the required type is added to the root of the System or to the selected Group (depending on your selection in Step 2), ready for you to enter its name.
6. Enter a suitable name for the item (taking into account the Geo SCADA Expert Naming Restrictions).
7. Press the Enter key or select another part of the ViewX interface to confirm the entry.

When you have added an Accumulator, you can then define the Accumulator’s properties, using the fields on the Accumulator Form. To display the Form, see Display a Form. The Form has several tabs—use the fields on the tabs to configure the Accumulator (see Tabs on Accumulator Forms).
