Associate an Operator Document Store with a User or User Group

To allow operator(s) to access an Operator Document Store:

1. Ensure that the operator(s) User Account provides access to:
   • The Operator Documents Bar in ViewX and Virtual ViewX (see Define which Explorer Bars a User can Access in ViewX in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Security)

   and/or:

   • The Documents command on the navigation bar in Original WebX (Define a User's Navigation Access in Original WebX in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Security).
2. Do one of the following to provide the required access to the Operator Document Store:
   • Provide access on an individual User Account basis (see Define the General Settings that Apply to ViewX and Virtual ViewX in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Security).

   or:

   • Provide access on a User Group basis (see Define the Operator Document Store for a User Group in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Security).

     (Remember that you can assign multiple User Groups to each User Account, and so can also provide user access to multiple group Document Stores.) For information on assigning a User Group to a User Account, see Associate a User with a User Group in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Security.

   or:

   • Provide global access by assigning the Operator Document Store as your system’s global document store (see Specify the Global Operator Document Store for your System).
