You can rename an Area of Interest using any of the methods that are available for renaming an item in the database—the only difference is that you rename the entry in the Area of Interest Bar, rather than in the Database Bar (see Renaming a Database Item).
When you rename an Area of Interest, Geo SCADA Expert updates the references to that name automatically. (You may need to re-display any Forms and refresh any Lists that are open at the time, in order to update the entry.)
If you rename the World Area of Interest, ensure that the new name indicates that this is the root Area of Interest to which alarms and events default, if they are not assigned a different Area of Interest.
