Minimum Configuration

For a DDE scanner to become functional (online), you need to specify:

• The server on which it is to scan data
• The DDE Topic with which Geo SCADA Expert is to exchange data.

You also need to put the scanner In Service, and save the configuration.

These are the minimum requirements and, when configured, will result in a functional scanner that uses the default configuration settings.
