Minimum Configuration

For a DF1 scanner to be functional (online), you need to specify:

• The channel through which the scanner communicates
• The PLC type
• The ID of the DF1 node.

You also need to put the scanner In Service and save the configuration.

These are the minimum requirements and, when configured, will result in a scanner that uses the default configuration settings.
