Configuration Corrupt Alarm
Associated with: DNP3 master outstations
The Configuration Corrupt Alarm attribute indicates whether the outstation’s DNP3 CONFIG_CORRUPT IIN bit is set.
If the bit is set, this indicates that the outstation has detected corrupt configuration. This may relate to the corruption of essential configuration that affects the outstation’s ability to function reliably, or it may relate to non-critical configuration.
An outstation’s CONFIG_CORRUPT IIN bit might be set, for example, when:
- A new outstation is installed.
- The configuration is reset at the outstation.
- A hardware fault at the outstation results in the configuration becoming corrupt or unavailable.
Possible states: Displays one of the Standard Alarm States.
See the outstation documentation for information on clearing the CONFIG_CORRUPT IIN bit. Depending on the problem that caused the bit to be set, you may need to re-configure the outstation.
