Configure Override Properties

Use the fields within the Override section of the Binary Point tab to define whether the value of a binary point can be overridden.

Some of the fields in the Override section are common to many digital points—for details, see Define whether a Digital Point can be Overridden in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration. Fields that are specific to DNP3 points are explained below.

• Process Override Flag—Select this check box for Geo SCADA Expert to set the point’s status in accordance with the point’s DNP3 Local Forced status flag.
• Clear the check box for Geo SCADA Expert to ignore the Local Forced status of the point.
