A Device Attributes entry is displayed at the top of each separate block of Device Attributes that is included in the Status display. The attribute differentiates each block of attributes that the outstation supports, and indicates the index location of each block in the outstation.
Many DNP3 outstations support a set of common DNP3 Device Attributes. Some outstations additionally support one or more blocks of vendor-specific Device Attributes. For information on the latter attributes, see the vendor-specific documentation.
