Use the fields at the top of the Counter Point tab to define the general properties for a DNP3 Counter point. The fields are common to many DNP3 points—for more information, see Configure General Point Properties.
You use the Severity field shown above to specify the severity of alarms and events other than those generated in relation to changes in the point’s state or value. You use the Severity fields within the point’s Alarm Limits section to specify the severity level(s) that apply to state-related alarms and events (see Configure Alarm Limits).
