Use the fields within the Local Pre/Post Amble section of the DNP3 tab to specify whether Geo SCADA Expert is to use different pre- or post-amble bytes to those specified for the channel (see Configure the Pre-Amble and Post-Amble Message Strings).
Select this check box if the pre-amble and post-amble bytes defined on the Channel Form are to be overridden by the settings specified in this section.

Clear the Enabled check box to set Geo SCADA Expert to use the pre-amble and post-amble defaults that are specified for the channel (see Configure the Pre-Amble and Post-Amble Message Strings).
